What did I do?
I Created the templates to laser cut the board, the acrylic, and the box. I designed them on Inkscape which is a free drawing software That worked with our laser-cutter. That is what I did the most during this project. I also researched how flashbacks work when you take LSD.
What I am most proud of?
I am most proud of from my work was how the engravings turned out and how the acrylic turned out. From the who thing I am proud of the lights and how they actually worked and lit up when you pressed the buttons. I think that was the best part of the project because it was the hardest to get working. There were always problems that Evan hat to fix and in the end it was a bit finicky but it worked.
How would I improve the project if I did it over again?
There were a few things that happened so they couldn't be put in. The first was that the brain was centered on the board instead of lower and the LSD was going to be bigger however I think it turned out better with it centered. Next we were going to have a plaque of all of our names on the board but that never came because the laser-cutter was full of things to cut. I also would improve the box with the buttons because they were labeled wrong so fixing that would have been a improvement. Those would be what I would improve if I could do this over..
